Mango Mousse

Involving only 5 min. of prep time (plus refrigeration), this is a quick, refreshing dessert that brings a touch of the tropics to your table; it can be “enhanced” with rum, if desired.

The only tool you need is a blender/food processor!


Serves: 3-4 Preparation time 5 min +10-15 cooling min.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups Pinwheel mango chunks (frozen)

  • 1 banana, cut into chunks & frozen in advance

  • 2 tablespoons honey or 1 tablespoon agave syrup

  • 1 cup evaporated milk, chilled (you can substitute any other variety of milk, including coconut milk, however the dish may be less creamy)

  • grated nutmeg and strawberries or mango chunks for garnish

  • Optional - 1 shot dark rum of choice

Instructions

  1. Blend the mango, banana, milk & honey/agave and rum (if using) until thick and creamy.

  2. Pour into cocktail glasses, or glass dessert bowls and chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes minimum before serving. Just before serving sprinkle nutmeg and additional mango chunks or strawberry on top as garnish, if desired.
