Anjali Gupta, founder

Anjali has always been passionate about bringing people together around food; her favorite moments generally involve a lively table of contented eaters. After becoming a parent with a busy corporate career, Anjali realized how challenging it was to land nutritious, tasty and balanced meals on one’s table in the face of time constraints, competing priorities, and schedule conflicts. She began looking for ways to make it easier to access healthy, flavorful, and convenient meals, regardless of dietary restrictions, palate, etc. Pinwheel Provisions is the culmination of several years of observation, research and experimentation.

Anjali’s goal in launching the Pinwheel Provisions market in 2019 was to help make household meals a low stress, healthy and positive part of her customers’ daily lives. More recently, she extended the concept to add healthy, balanced, and globally inspired prepared-to-order lunch fare with the ‘Wich Way sandwich Bar, housed within Pinwheel Provisions at its new location in Bryn Mawr.

In addition to her near-constant pursuit of knowledge about global cuisines, Anjali is an avid traveler, gardener, reader, and home renovator and loves spending time with her family & friends, especially over a great meal!

Raven DeRose, Social Media Manager

Already recognizable to our Instagram followers, Raven joined Pinwheel shortly after graduating from Bryn Mawr College and has lent her exuberant personality and social media genius to our enterprise ever since. Her social media areas of focus are healthy living and style, and her passion for connecting others with great resources that may benefit them comes through in her every posting. She’ll direct you to just the right products for your needs at Pinwheel!




Yanfeng Zheng (aka "Deborah"), Staff Manager

Deborah is a culinary wizard with a whisk and a heart full of hunger! Born with chopsticks in one hand and a cookbook in the other, she lived and cooked in Shanghai for over 10 years. She believes a wok is a must in any kitchen and a person who can't handle spicy food is "weak". Her favorite afternoons are those spent baking and decorating a cake and enjoying it with family and friends. You can catch her at Pinwheel doing everything from producing baked goods to running the shop floor to executing lunch orders.
