Anjali Gupta
Anjali has always been passionate about bringing people together around food; her favorite moments generally involve a lively table of contented eaters. Anjali founded Pinwheel Provisions after experiencing the challenges of composing good meals in the face of time constraints, competing priorities and schedules, and the complications posed by allergies and/or different dietary practices and palates within a household. Realizing that the lack of good options for easy, flexible dinners was contributing to the demise of household meals, she began researching food trends in Europe for mealtime practices and solutions; Pinwheel Provisions is the culmination of years of observation, research and experimentation.
Anjali’s aspiration in launching Pinwheel Provisions is that it will provide its customers the means to make household mealtimes a low stress, healthy and positive part of their daily lives. In addition to her near-constant pursuit of knowledge about the cultural, social, and economic practices relating to the production and consumption of food around the globe, Anjali is an avid traveler, gardener, reader and cinema-phile.
Katy O’Gara
There’s not much that makes Katy O’Gara happier than gathering her favorite people in her home and filling them with delicious homemade food. From her first job as a young teen at the Lancaster County Farmers Market to running her own catering business, to creating the Best of the Main Line dining events that were Table Tours, it’s always about food and fun for Katy. And, as a mom of three boys and one girl from elementary through high school, Katy strives to feed her kids and husband food that is healthy and delicious every single day and night. It’s not always easy with their different preferences and crazy schedules! Katy is really looking forward to spreading the word about how Pinwheel Provisions has something for everyone, at every level of cooking ability…it’s hard to think of a business that could fit more perfectly with Katy’s career history and personal life!
When she’s not cooking or watching her kids play soccer/tennis/baseball/acting or encouraging another of their latest interests, Katy loves to learn through reading and documentaries, but mostly through travel, both alone and with her family.
Chef Chase Obenchain
Chef Chase has been cooking in professional kitchens for over ten years; with experience in casual family restaurants, fine dining, catering and corporate R&D. His love of food started as a child, in a family that didn’t always have a lot to put on the table he decided to dedicate his life to making better tasting and healthier food more available to the average consumer. Chase attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY attaining a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts as well as Culinary Science. This love of technical and formulaic cooking jumpstarted his career at The Campbell’s Soup Company, designing products for their North American retail division and later leading Culinary development within the Campbell’s Innovation team. Currently Chase works as a Chef Consultant for start-ups and larger corporations aiding in product R&D, corporate training, and innovation. He is very excited and extremely driven to help make Pinwheel Provisions a household name and a staple in your diet.
Tesia Barone
Tesia’s favorite thing to do is travel the world, sampling all of the flavors, both literally and culturally. So when home, she loves to fill the table with all of the tastes and smells that take her family back to their favorite adventures.
When not traveling and stuffing her face, Tesia spends her days designing logos, websites and ads as the owner/creative director of Killer B Creative.
A graduate of the University of Delaware, Tesia learned the art and craft of branding with a major in the highly esteemed Visual Communications program. She spent the first decade of her career at The Brownstein Group, where she won a slew of awards, including a coveted Best of Show, for clients including Reebok, Foot Locker, Majestic Athletic, PFCU and Microsoft.
