Soy Roasted Broccoli Florets

A quick & easy favorite- full of flavor, texture and healthy nutrients. Drizzle with some Sriracha at the end if you want a bit of a kick!


Serves: 4 as a side dish Cooking time 15 min.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Pinwheel broccoli florets (frozen)

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

  • 2 tablespoons extra–virgin olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce

  • Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: Sriracha Sauce

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 425°. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Whisk to combine.

  • Step 2

    Place the frozen broccoli florets on a baking pan. Drizzle the oil mixture over the broccoli. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the broccoli and season with black pepper. Toss to coat evenly, then spread the broccoli into an even layer over the baking pan.

  • Step 3

    Roast for 12 minutes, turn the broccoli, then continue roasting for 5-7 more minutes, or until tender and the edges are crisped.

  • Step 4

    Season with additional soy sauce and black pepper if desired, and then serve warm or at room temperature. Drizzle with Sriracha if using.
